Tiffany Stratton has just reached a huge milestone.
The WWE Women’s Champion likely isn’t in happy mood after the shocking betrayal from Jade Cargill on Smackdown last Friday; however, Ms. Tiffany has something to celebrate as she’s now the third longest reigning women’s champion of all time.
Bianca Belair takes the number one spot with 420 days and Becky Lynch takes the number two with 399 days. Tiffany Stratton currently sits at 299 days and she is guaranteed to get past 300 as she won’t be defending her belt until Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Stratton won the 2024 Money in the Bank Ladder match. She was able to cash in that briefcase on Nia Jax back in January. Since then, Stratton has defended the WWE Women’s title nine times, with some of her notable opponents being Trish Stratus, Bayley, and Charlotte Flair.
Stratton even defended it against Ms. Cargill at Summerslam. Jade won the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament and gave her the right to challenge for the WWE Women’s Championship. Jade's turn on Friday was built off of frustration over failing to beat Tiffany for the prestigious belt. These two met again a month back with Nia Jax involved and Stratton pulled out the victory once again by pinning the former WWE Women’s Champion.
On paper, it seems that Tiffany’s time as champion might come to an end; however, most people predicted that Stratton would lose her belt at Summerslam and they kept her as champion. Should she retain her title at Saturday Night’s Main Event then there’s a strong likelihood that Stratton could beat Bianca Belair’s record setting record since WrestleMania is around the corner and there’s a chance that WWE may have her keep the belt until the biggest show of the year.
Whatever the case may be, congratulations to Tiffany Stratton! Her title wasn’t always pretty, but she’s definitely a talented athlete who has proved her worth on multiple occasions. It’s not clear what the future holds for the 26-year-old, but even if she loses the title on Saturday then she’ll continue to be a prominent figure in the division since WWE has spent so much time building up the Smackdown star.
