Triple H and WWE President Nick Khan were in London yesterday to discuss the possibility of bringing WrestleMania to the UK. We'll share more on that soon, but the executives spoke with several outlets while in the country, including The Daily Mail.

Recently, it's been reported that MVP and former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley are both planning to leave WWE. They're believed to be unhappy with how they've been treated by WWE, particularly in regards to the handling of their old faction, The Hurt Business.

Asked about their status, The Game responded, "No [there are no updates I can give on Bobby Lashley and MVP]. Just like any sport, any business, we sign talent, talent contract runs out, we release talent. It’s just part of the process so it’s an ongoing thing."

Reading between the lines, we'd say it's likely that their time in WWE has indeed reached its end.

Many Black wrestlers have expressed unhappiness with how they're portrayed in the company over the years and, regardless of race, it's baffling that WWE has failed to find a compelling role for Lashley on TV since Triple H took over creative. Attempts to give Lashley a new faction, which included The Street Profits and B-Fab, fell flat.

In the same interview, Triple H was asked about Brock Lesnar's WWE status. He was caught up in Janel Grant's sex trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE when it was alleged that he'd communicated with Grant.

The Beast was subsequently removed from the WWE Supercard video game and the WWE 2K24 "40 Years of WrestleMania" cover art.

"You'd have to ask Brock Lesnar that," the Chief Content Officer said of whether he's any closer to returning. "Brock does his own thing so, he’s up in Canada I’m sure, watching his kids play hockey, enjoying life. If and when he decides he would like to do something, we’re open to the conversation but we’ll see."

When McMahon was forced to retire from WWE amid a series of sexual misconduct allegations, Lesnar was extremely unhappy and walked out of RAW. As a result, it's possible he doesn't want to return and work under the Triple H regime.

As always, we'll have to wait and see what happens. WWE has changed for the better this year, but the company is by no means perfect, and not stopping Lashley from making the leap to AEW could be a costly mistake.
