VIDEO: Carmella Attempted To Cash In Her MONEY IN THE BANK Briefcase On Last Night's SMACKDOWN LIVE

The Royal Rumble weekend nearly ended with a very memorable bang on last night's episode of SmackDown Live when Carmella attempted to cash in on a prone Charlotte. Hit the jump for more on how it played out.

Asuka has yet to reveal which Women's Champion she'll face at WrestleMania but the rumour mill is pointing to Charlotte Flair being her pick. On last night's SmackDown Live, she addressed both that and Ronda Rousey's WWE arrival but was interrupted by The Riott Squad.

They proceeded to beat down the champ and left her lying in the ring. Moments later, Carmella hit the ring with the intention of cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase. However, during an attempt to leave Charlotte on the mat, she inadvertently hit the referee and was forced to then leave the ring with her tail between her legs!

This is the closest Carmella has come to cashing in, though, and with WrestleMania fast approaching, it's hard not to wonder when she'll make history by becoming the first women to attempt winning the title in this way.

When do you guys think it could happen? As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
