VIDEO: Watch Shinsuke Nakamura Almost Break John Cena's Neck During SMACKDOWN LIVE Match

John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura clashed on last night's SmackDown Live for the chance to battle WWE Champion Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam but the King of Strong style nearly took out Cena for good!

John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura came to blows for the first time ever on last night's SmackDown Live (shouldn't that have been saved for a PPV?) and while the latter walked out victorious and is now set to square off with WWE Champion Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam, one move in particular from the King of Strong Style could have seen the match end in a horrible way.

As you can see below, Nakamura used an inverted
powerslam on Cena to set up the Kinshasa and after being thrown back by his opponent, Cena landed smack bang on his neck. The leader of the Cenation has suffered from neck issues in the past and this could have potentially put him on the injury shelf or ended his career so it's lucky that he hit the mat in just the right way.

Things like this do happen from time to time so there's unlikely to be any sort of heat on Nakamura for this move going slightly wrong and the most important thing is obviously the fact Cena is ok. He's a tough SOB, regardless, and it would no doubt take a lot more than this to put him on the shelf. What he'll be doing at SummerSlam later this month currently remains to be seen.
