Viewership For This Week's MIXED MATCH CHALLENGE Increased As SMACKDOWN's Title Holders Teamed Up

We've heard reports that WWE is unhappy with viewership numbers for Facebook Watch's Mixed Match Challenge but it appears as if the championship team of Bobby Roode and Charlotte Flair helped give them a boost.

This Tuesday, the sixth episode of WWE's Mixed Match Challenge aired on Facebook Watch and featured United States Champion Bobby Roode and SmackDown Live Women's Champion Charlotte Flair team up to do battle with Apollo and Nia Jax. The former ultimately advanced in the tournament and fans were clearly interested in seeing the two title holders compete based on these numbers.

While last week's instalment drew 72,400 live viewers, this edition peaked at 76,500. That's not a huge increase but possibly enough to give WWE a little more confidence in this online experiment.

As of yesterday, the view counter was showing over 1,000,000 million viewers, so that's pretty good and a sign that most wrestling fans don't feel the need to tune into the live broadcast of the show. What did you guys think of Roode and Flair vs. Apollo and Jax? Let us know in the comments section below.
