WrestleMania Backlash saw Jimmy Uso continue to defy Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and the Tribal Chief told Jey to remain backstage when he faced Cesaro because he sensed doubt in his voice. 

Reigns' match with the Swiss Cyborg cemented Cesaro as a legit main eventer, and saw him puts the Big Dog to his limits - usually with submission holds - from start to finish. At one point, Reigns actually taunted Daniel Bryan by looking into the camera while he punished Cesaro, and while the challenger gained some momentum, it wasn't to last. 

After escaping the Sharpshooter, Reigns locked in his guillotine on Cesaro and choked him out. 

Jey then hit the ring to attack Cesaro with Reigns' blessing, proving that he's still loyal to the Head of the Table. With that, Seth Rollins arrived, and after a brief staredown with his former Shield brother, he demolished Cesaro and ended the night by damaging his arm with a chair and hitting a Stomp on the steps.
