WWE Confirms Jason Jordan Has Undergone Surgery And It Sounds Like He'll Be Gone A While

It's been rumoured for a while now but WWE has confirmed that Jason Jordan has undergone neck surgery and it doesn't sound like there's a timetable for his return and he'll almost certainly miss WrestleMania.

It's been an interesting couple of years for Jason Jordan. He's gone from being part of American Alpha to Kurt Angle's son and one of the most disliked babyfaces on the RAW roster. Recently, it's appeared as if he's on a collision course with Seth Rollins after costing him the Tag Team Championships but that's clearly not going to happen now because Jordan has indeed undergone surgery.

"He had an injury to a disc in his neck which resulted in significant pain that was refractory to all conservative measures," WWE Medical Director
Dr. Joseph Maroon said. "It was decided to do a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve, to allow it to heal." That doesn't sound as serious as we previously heard but is obviously still a very big deal and a serious procedure.

It's called a minimally invasive posterior cervical microdiscectomy. It's not known just how long Jordan will be out of action but it looks like it will be at least three months, if not quite a bit longer.
