WWE Forced To Scrap RAW Plans For Karrion Kross After Jeff Hardy Tests Positive For COVID-19

Tonight's episode of RAW was supposed to further the storyline with Karrion Kross and Jeff Hardy, but plans have had to change after the latter tested positive for COVID-19. Find more details right here...

Earlier today, it was revealed that Jeff Hardy had been forced to pull out of an event in Kansas City after testing positive for COVID-19. While WWE probably would have preferred to keep this quiet, the venue he was supposed to appear at - recordBar - shared the news on their Facebook page.

"[We] regret to inform you that the event with Jeff Hardy to take place on Monday July 26, 2021 at recordBar in Kansas City, MO will have to be postponed to a later date," they confirmed. "Jeff Hardy just tested positive for [COVID-19] this morning, and will have to quarantine for the next two weeks, and will not be participating in any live events for the next two weeks."

Needless to say, this has obviously had an impact on WWE's plans for RAW tonight.

During last week's episode, Hardy scored an upset win over Karrion Kross when he rolled up him and used the ropes for leverage. It looked like WWE's plan was to continue that feud over the weeks to come, and there were, in fact, plans for a rematch later tonight.

Needless to say, that won't be happening later or next Monday, leaving this storyline very much up in the air. WWE could choose to wait, but it might be better to have Kross come out and squash someone rather than leave him cool off for the next two weeks. As of right now, WWE has only confirmed that WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will address Goldberg's challenge and that Nikki A.S.H. will begin her reign as the new RAW Women's Champion.

Make sure you check back here later for updates.
