With the news of Daniel Bryan getting medically cleared last week, it seems that the Ultimate Deletion took a backseat in the wrestling world.

Some have praised the innovation and boldness of the Woken universe, praising it for feeling different, but in a good way. Others have called out the Ultimate Deletion for exposing how “fake” the wrestling business is. Whichever side you stand on, there’s no doubt that the match was something truly unique.

Rumors swirled that Vince McMahon believed that the match would be a failure, which would explain why Michael Cole openly apologized to viewers before Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt went at it last week. The match was also not shown in the arena and cut from the 90-minute Hulu version of Raw.

Ultimate Deletion aactually did pretty decent on RAW last week and social media, and it now seems WWE might still be moving forward with the Woken gimmick as the company has released an Uncut version of the match.
