WWE has just made two major additions to the WWE Hall of Fame's class of 2021. During today's episode of The Bump, The Undertaker broke the news to his "brother," Kane, that he's set to be inducted next month (the ceremony takes place on Tuesday, April 6th).
The Big Red Machine has had an incredible career in WWE; after some not so great gimmicks, Glenn Jacobs made his debut as Kane in 1997 targeting the Deadman.
He'd go on to find great success, winning the WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, ECW Title, Intercontinental Title and the 2010 Money in the Bank Ladder Match. He's also a multi-time Tag Team Champion, with his most memorable partner being Daniel Bryan as part of "Team Hell No."
The Instagram account for WWE India, meanwhile, has confirmed that The Great Khali is also being inducted this year. He broke into the wrestling business in 2000, and found his way to WWE in 2006. Portrayed as a monster heel, he did eventually become a comedy character, and left the company in 2014. A former World Heavyweight Champion, he has since made sporadic appearances.
The 2020 inductees include John "Bradshaw" Layfield, "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith, Jushin "Thunder" Liger, the NWO (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman), and The Bella Twins. Before today, only Molly Holly and Eric Bischoff have been announced for the 2021 class.
