Last night's Hell in a Cell has left a bad taste in the mouths of fans after Seth Rollins was disqualified after brutally attacking The Fiend with a number of weapons in a match that's supposed to be anything goes. Loud chants of "AEW," "Restart The Match," and "Bullsh*t" could be heard as the PPV went off the air and the response online has been brutal.

Now, in a WWE.com article, the company has claimed that the finish was "a match-stoppage ruling that led to Rollins retaining the title."

So, there you have it. The company is attempting to explain all this not as a disqualification but as a match-stoppage once the referee decided Rollins had gone too far. As of right now, no explanation has been given as to why the match wasn't restarted when it became clear Bray Wyatt was perfectly fine.

WWE will have to address this on RAW tonight as there's no way the company can ignore this insane amount of backlash from wrestling fans.
