Last night's Money in the Bank PLE opened with the men's ladder match. Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, Chad Gable, LA Knight, and Drew McIntyre were all vying to get their hands on the briefcase and it was an action-packed bout with plenty of incredible highlights.

The final sequence saw Gable get both hands on the briefcase, only to be left hanging when Uso pulled the latter out from under him. It looked like he had the match won, only for McIntyre to fling a ladder at his old foe and take the briefcase for himself.

Next up was Sami Zayn defending his Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker. This was no squash match as Zayn outsmarted the rising star and hit the Helluva Kick to retain his title.

There were big stakes in the World Heavyweight Championship match as, if Damian Preist lost, he'd have to leave The Judgement Day. However, if Rollins lost, he'd be barred from challenging Priest for the title again.

It was a competitive match which saw Rollins pull out a lot of new moves; however, Priest appeared to be dazed after a Falcon Arrow as the referee stopped counting a pinfall before he had a chance to kick out. It was a rare botch which somewhat lessened the impact of what came next.

McIntyre made his way to the ring and cashed in. It seemed as if he had the title won, only for a returning CM Punk to brutally attack him with a steel chair and the title, allowing Priest to pick up the win (needless to say, Rollins wasn't happy).

In the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match, Iyo Sky, Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, and Zoey Stark all went head-to-head, only for Stratton to earn the win after seeing Green off the ladder and into two tables at ringside.

As for the main event, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens clashed with The Bloodline in a match which proved to be a showcase for Jacob Fatu. It was thanks to him that Solo Sikoa was able to pin the American Nightmare for the win, setting the stage for them to clash at SummerSlam next month.
