This Monday's episode of RAW was full of hype for No Mercy but with no John Cena or Brock Lesnar (at least not physically) and a series of video packages dominating the show, it probably won't surprise you to learn that the show's ratings have taken a hit. With a total of 2.833 million viewers, RAW was down from the 2.903 million viewers it received last week.
That's a big drop but not too bad considering the fact that NFL's Monday Night Football is back and the game featuring the Detroit Lions and New York Giants did a total of 12.287 million viewers.
However, things were a tad more problematic for RAW in its third hour. That did only 2.532 million viewers, a significant dip from the first hour's 3.123 million and the second's 2.844 million. When people realised that the main event would revolve around the Intercontinental Championship and that neither Cena nor Lesnar were set to appear, it's clear they decided to tune out.
With the fallout from No Mercy set to dominate next week's RAW, that should provide the show with a boost but it's ultimately going to depend on what WWE brings to the table at the PPV on Sunday!
