WWE RAW Superstar Seth Rollins Comments On Being Able To Utilize The Curb Stomp As His Finishing Move Again

Seth Rollins fans were very happy to see the Kingslayer utilize his old Curb Stop (now known as The "Blackout") to pin Finn Balor a couple of weeks again on RAW, and while chatting to The Des Moines Register, the former tag-team champion described how it felt to be able to use the somewhat controversial move once again.

“I was pretty excited to reconnect with an old friend. It’s been three years since I’ve been able to perform the move. Obviously, it got a nice reaction from the crowd and from the online audience as well. It was exciting to bring it back and hopefully moving forward it’d be a nice piece to add to my arsenal.”

Vince McMahon outlawed the stomp some time ago in the belief that it was something kids could copy far too easily, potentially resulting in some nasty injuries - and, of course, nasty lawsuits.

Rollins doesn't say what changed for him to be allowed to use it again, but let's hope he doesn't only pull it out of his bag of tricks once in a while.
