The WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe was one of the strongest bouts at SummerSlam and it's now WWE's hottest feud, especially as things have become so personal between the two rivals. While the Phenomenal One retained the title after being disqualified for attacking Joe with a chair, rumour has it that the company's original plans were much different.

WWE reportedly sees Joe as a top guy in the company and there was actually a lot of talk of having him beat Styles for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. While that's not ultimately the finish they went with, it is possible that Joe could finally win the title at Hell in a Cell, especially after this week's SmackDown Live made it clear that things between these two are far from over right now.

It's hard to say whether or not Joe will win the title, especially as Styles is the cover star of WWE 2K19. Until that's released, there's a good chance that WWE will choose to keep the title on him!
