WWE Reportedly Has Big Plans For The Women's Division This Year After WRESTLEMANIA

A new report sheds some light on what WWE has planned for the women's division after WrestleMania and it seems a couple of Superstars, in particular, have lots to look forward to heading into next year's event.

The women's division is going from strength to strength, hence why we're getting at least four matches at WrestleMania which will feature female competitors. Those include Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Championship, Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax for the RAW Women's Championship, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, and a Battle Royal.

Apparently, now that Ronda Rousey is part of RAW, WWE is looking to take advantage of the press she's getting to give the division a push and that's something which will continue after WrestleMania.

It's said that the plan is for Asuka to defeat Charlotte for the title and her undefeated streak will then continue into next year. The plans right now are for her to then defend that against Ronda Rousey, possibly making that the MAIN EVENT of 2019's Showcase of the Immortals. It could happen at SummerSlam this summer, of course, but the hope is that fans will ultimately perceive it as a dream match.
