This weekend, Saturday Night's Main Event takes place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Despite WWE's landmark deal with ESPN, the show will be broadcast on Peacock in the United States.
Kicking off at 8pm ET/5pm PT, international fans will be able to watch it live on either the WWE Network or YouTube (there have been claims that it might stream on Netflix, but those, as of now, remain unverified).
Only four matches have been announced for the show, but they're pretty significant and could change the landscape of WWE as we head into Survivor Series: WarGames. The Road to WrestleMania, meanwhile, begins early next year with the Royal Rumble on January 31.
Here's what the Saturday Night's Main Event card currently looks like:
Undisputed WWE Championship Match
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
CM Punk vs. Jey Uso
WWE Women’s Championship Match
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Penta vs. Rusev
Another match could be added during SmackDown this Friday, but three World Championship matches definitely make this edition of Saturday Night's Main Event one that should be worth watching.
In recent weeks, we've seen a slightly more heelish attitude from former World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso. There's a divide with his brother, Jimmy, and he seems to be acting a lot more like the Head of the Table, Roman Reigns.
Addressing his relationship with his cousin earlier this week, Jey said, "He see me now, Uce, we equals now, he did teach me the game, man. I was a student to him, I sat under the learning tree all of COVID. I was there. Like front row, man. I had my ticket, just learning the game, man, learning from Big Uce, learning from The Wiseman."
"Me and Roman got a love-hate relationship, like y’all can tell, man, but respect between us is there now," he continued. "So, he’s still big uce, he’s still my Tribal Chief, man. There’ll never be another Tribal Chief to Jey Uso but Roman Reigns."
Many fans will dispute them being on the same level, and a Jey Uso title win at Saturday Night's Main Event isn't likely to go down well with fans who have grown tired of his "YEET" schtick.
Be sure to check back here on Saturday for the latest from this WWE PLE.
