Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:
On tap for today's episode, Charlotte Flair is absolutely going to squash B-Fab. There's a chance B-Fab gets in a few licks, but the whole point of this is that Flair is going to show why she's "The Queen" and why everyone bows down to her. If WWE really wants to play around, Tiffany Stratton will cause a distraction and B-Fab will get a roll-up victory out of nowhere, but the message will be loud and clear that B-Fab isn't on the same level.
A MizTV talking segment will take place with The Miz and Carmelo Hayes (hence Melo Don't MizTV) hosting Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare will talk about defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena at WrestleMania 41. This is likely to lead into the scheduled match between Hayes and Randy Orton, as The Viper and The American Nightmare have a strong bond. Orton is going to win that match unless Kevin Owens interferes.
There will also be a WWE Tag Team Championship match with #DIY defending against The Street Profits. Given how odd it would be if the titles changed hands and that was the end of this whole story, as well as how The Motor City Machine Guns are too prominent to ignore and Pretty Deadly have earned a future title shot, while Los Garza are looking to redeem themselves, the chaotic nature of the division in recent months almost assures this will end in controversy.
Here are your results for WWE SmackDown - March 14, 2025:
- Promo: LA Knight starts the show off in the ring. His promo is interrupted by Jimmy Uso, who says he is getting desperate, as his Road to WrestleMania is running out of time, so he wants to challenge Knight for the United States Championship. They're both interrupted by Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga. Sikoa says Fatu deserves a title shot more and calls Uso a failure. Uso points out that Sikoa lost the ula fala, so he's a bigger failure. They go on the attack and Braun Strowman saves Knight and Uso. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis comes out and makes an impromptu six-man tag team match.
- Six-Man Tag Team Match: LA Knight, Braun Strowman and Jimmy Uso defeated Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu by pinfall, but the heels continued to fight them after the match and Fatu took out Strowman with three moonsaults to end the segment.
- Cathy Kelley and Jade Cargill had a pre-taped interview in the empty arena from earlier in the day. Cargill said that she didn't tell anyone about Naomi because the attack left her feeling like she couldn't trust anyone. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez strolled over and whined about how they've been blamed for weeks for the attack. Cargill challenged Morgan to a match for next week.
- Charlotte Flair defeated B-Fab by submission. Tiffany Stratton went after Flair following the bell. They continued to fight with officials trying to break them up.
- Drew McIntyre thinks Damian Priest has benefited every time he's gotten screwed over and wants revenge.
- After the commercial break, Flair and Stratton were still fighting for a bit, ending with Stratton jumping off the stage onto Flair and the officials.
- Cody Rhodes was the guest for MizTV. The Miz stopped Cody's theme short. Rhodes laid out The Miz, grabbed a microphone, and said he only wants to talk to John Cena, and he'll be in the same building with Cena on Monday Night Raw (which, remember, will be at 3pm ET)
- Backstage, Shinsuke Nakamura wants a rematch for the United States title. Nick Aldis says he's lucky to not be suspended. Damian Priest interrupts to say he wants a match with Drew McIntyre. Nakamura is annoyed that Priest interrupted, so he wants a match with Nakamura right now then.
- Damian Priest defeated Shinsuke Nakamura by disqualification due to interference from Drew McIntyre. Nakamura hit a Kinshasa on Priest after the bell for good measure, too, and left. McIntyre kept hurting Priest, primarily with the steel steps, and walked off, only to return back to the ring for a few extra licks.
- Backstage, Zelina Vega interrupts an interview with Cathy Kelley talking to Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Alba Fyre. Vega will face Niven next week as a first step toward getting a Women's United States Championship match.
- Randy Orton defeated Carmelo Hayes by pinfall. Hayes disrespected Orton after the match and almost got punted for it, but Kevin Owens came out and distracted The Viper.
- Backstage, Jacob Fatu wants to run it back and have another match with Braun Strowman next week.
- Another vignette airs. This just has the number 4 with a smokey black background.
- Gunther cuts a promo introducing Axiom to the crowd and apparently is going to face the NXT tag team champion right now. Gunther defeats Axiom by pinfall and puts him in a sleeper hold after the match just for the sake of it.
- Paul Heyman cuts a promo about how Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown next week, which the crowd doesn't like, so he tells them to buy a ticket on "cheapo airlines" and fly over to Bologna.
- After the commercial break, Gunther tries to convince Jimmy Uso to tell Jey not to challenge him at WrestleMania, or he'll do to him what he just did to Axiom, but Jimmy is confident Jey will win. Gunther says he's mistaken in thinking Jimmy was the more mature of the two Usos, and says that he tried to warn him of what's coming.
- The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) defeated #DIY (c) (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) by pinfall to win the WWE Tag Team Championship!
