It's now been confirmed that Xavier Woods will miss up to one year of action after going down with a torn Achilles Tendon during a match at a recent WWE live event in Australia, but The New Day member is certainly putting a brave face on things.

Woods shared the following video of the incident to Instagram, putting a funny spin on what appeared to be an unfortunate accident beyond anyone involved in the bout's control.

As you can see, Xavier simply drops to the ground on his third run to the ropes and the match is called off almost immediately.

Woods' injury may keep him out for even longer than a year, as a torn Achilles could potentially be a career-ending injury. Hopefully he'll be back blowing that trumpet at some point, though.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
