Three quarterfinals matches for this year's Owen Hart Foundation tournament took place during the 2025 AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event.

Heading into this show, two matches in the men's division were set to go down between Will Ospreay vs. Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe, and the women's bracket was represented by Mercedes Mone vs. Julia Hart.

The first match of these three was between Will Ospreay and Kevin Knight, which opened the main card of the pay-per-view. It was a hard-fought contest between the two, with Knight proving himself just as capable a competitor in this tournament despite not being the favorite of the contest. Ospreay did ultimately get the win following a Hidden Blade, but there was a show of respect between the two after the bell, and Knight has now earned a lot of momentum to be someone to keep an eye on.

Ospreay will face the winner of a future quarterfinals match between Konosuke Takeshita and Brody King.

Next up (with the tag team title match sandwiched between) was the Women's Owen Hart Cup quarterfinals match between the current AEW TBS champion Mercedes Mone and a former TBS champion in her own right, Julia Hart.

Yesterday on AEW Collision, these two were in opposition in a tag team match where Hart and Athena teamed up to beat Mone and Harley Cameron. Incidentally, Athena and Cameron will also have a quarterfinals match yet to come, with the winner of that bout facing the winner of tonight's match, wherein Mone was victorious over Hart with a roll-up pinfall.

Like Ospreay vs. Knight, this was a back-and-forth match rather than a one-sided affair, and Hart could have just as easily gotten a quick pin. It just wasn't her night tonight.

Finishing off tonight's round of Owen Hart Cup matches was Kyle Fletcher defeating Mark Briscoe following a top rope brainbuster. As a result, Fletcher will face the winner of the match between the as-yet-unknown wild card and "Hangman" Adam Page.

Who do you think will win the remaining quarterfinals matches? Do you think Will Ospreay, Mercedes Mone, Kyle Fletcher or Mark Briscoe will end up winning the whole tournament? Drop your thoughts and other predictions in the comments section below to keep the discussion going!
