AEW Beach Break 2025 continues with this Saturday's edition of AEW Collision, airing May 17, 2025. This episode is being taped in advance on May 14th at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois following AEW Dynamite.
This post will break down SPOILERS of the results for this set of tapings, for those who want to know what is going to happen before it airs this weekend.
According to various sources, chief among them being PWInsider (shout out to Bily Krotchsen), these are the results of what went down during these tapings:
- Megan Bayne (accompanied by Penelope Ford) defeated Anna Jay (accompanied by Harley Cameron) by pinfall.
- A tribute to Steve "Mongo" McMichael took place. This apparently included Ric Flair, Dean Malenko, and McMichael's wife Misty.
- ROH World Champion Bandido, Tomohiro Ishii, and Brody King defeated The Don Callis Family's Lance Archer, Trent Beretta, and Rocky Romero by pinfall. After the match, The Don Callis Family continued to fight with the babyfaces until The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) came out to make the save and back them up.
- "Speedball" Mike Bailey defeated Blake Christian by pinfall. Following the match, Speedball put out a challenge for Kazuchika Okada to come out. When he did, Speedball was attacked from behind by RUSH and Dralistico.
- Chicago Street Fight: Bryan Keith and Big Bill defeated The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) by pinfall
- The ROH World Tag Team Champions Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara (The Sons of Texas) defeated CRU (Action Andretti and Lio Rush) by pinfall in a No. 1 contenders' match to earn a title opportunity against The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at AEW Double or Nothing.
- Powerhouse Hobbs vs Wheeler Yuta by pinfall. After the match, Marina Shafir went on the attack, but Willow Nightingale came out to offset her.
- Kyle Fletcher vs. AR Fox was announced, but for some reason, never took place.
There will most likely be some backstage segments, pre-taped vignettes, or other filler that airs on this show as well, but wasn't presented in front of the live audience in attendance. Matches for next week's Dynamite should also be announced when Collision airs, as only one bout (Nigel McGuinness and Daniel Garcia vs. FTR) have been announced so far.
