The next episode of AEW Collision (airing Saturday, February 1, 2025) was taped in advance immediately following AEW Dynamite on January 29, 2025 at the Von Braun Center Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama.
This post will fill you in on SPOILERS of the results of these tapings, for anyone who wants to know what happened during this recording before it airs Saturday night on TNT.
* Note: Ricochet said on Dynamite he wanted to have an interview with Renee Paquette on Collision, but reports do not say anything about that airing. That may instead be something filmed without the audience, or those reporting on these spoilers may have missed out on that segment.
AEW Collision Results: February 1, 2025
- RUSH (with LFI's Dralistico and The Beast Mortos) defeated Max Caster by pinfall. This was an open challenge from Caster, as well as the return of RUSH and Dralistico after being absent for quite some time. After the match, RUSH apparently yells at The Beast Mortos.
- Tag Team Match: Samoa Joe and HOOK defeated The Patriarchy (Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne) by pinfall with Sabian taking the pin from a Muscle Buster. After the match, Christian Cage hit Hook and Samoa Joe with his metal folder.
- Tag Team Match: The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho and Bryan Keith, with Big Bill) defeated The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum) by pinfall. Big Bill interfered, tripping Truth Magnum. After the match, Big Bill attacked The Outrunners while the other two set up a table, but before Bill could chokeslam them through it, Bandido ran out to make the save, putting Keith through the table instead.
- Mid-South Street Fight: FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) defeated Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta) by pinfall. "Switchblade" Jay White and "The Rated-R Superstar" Cope came out to offset interference from the other Death Riders. Yuta took the pin after a piledriver through the commentary table. Moxley took a series of finishers after the match until Claudio Castagnoli pulled him to safety.
- In a promo segment, Timeless Toni Storm claimed that she had been playing a character for the past several weeks and that nobody realized it because she's that great of an actress, and Mariah May's time is over.
- Megan Bayne defeated Hyena Hera by pinfall.
- Harley Cameron defeated Taya Valkyrie by pinfall
- Daniel Garcia (accompanied by "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard) retained the TNT Championship in a three-way match against Kyle O'Reilly and the ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty, with Moriarty taking the pinfall loss. After the match, Shane Taylor Promotions surrounded the ring and were chased away by Adam Cole and Roderick Strong.
