The Death Riders have another problem to deal with.
Two weeks ago, Jon Moxley and The Death Riders thought it would be a great idea to kidnap FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood).
But The Death Riders failed at their mission as the former AEW World Tag Team Champions were able to escape and send a video promising to get revenge on the group at Fight for the Fallen.
However, Jon Moxley had to deal with Jay White, Orange Cassidy, and “Hangman” Adam Page at World’s End first; the match was pure chaos, as expected. The Death Riders came to the aid of Moxley on multiple occasions, but Page, White, and Cassidy fought them off for a good period of time.
However, the numbers game was simply too much and Moxley successfully retained the AEW World title by pinning Jay White. But the AEW faction was far from done. Until FTR came out. The former AEW World Tag Team Champions said they had back-up coming, and that back-up happened to be former TNT Champion Adam Copeland. Now dubbed, Rated FTR, the trio got the better of Jon Moxley and The Death Riders, with Copeland promising to take everything that the Death Riders have as the show closed.
Now the six-man tag team match is official. Adam Copeland’s first match back will see him team with Cash and Dax to take on Moxley, Yuta, and Castagnoli. The reveal of Adam being the man that FTR would bring to Fight for the Fallen wasn’t a surprise as most fans guessed it immediately, but it should add some more star power to this week’s Dynamite special.
The Emmy nominee hasn’t had a match since Double or Nothing when he broke his leg after diving off of a steel cage. Backstage reports claimed that Copeland had been cleared for weeks, though an exact date for his return was never confirmed.
The Fight for the Fallen card is still building as there’s only two matches on the card, but it should be exciting to see Copeland back in action. Check out the advertised line-up below:
