AEW DYNAMITE Could Move From Wednesday Nights & Reignite War With Tuesday's NXT

The Wednesday Night Wars ceased when WWE moved NXT to Tuesday nights, but AEW Dynamite may soon have to relocate to another night. Find out why Wednesday Night Dynamite may change to another day of the week!

Several months back, NBC Sports Network was discontinued and the future of NHL games was in question. For a long while, the speculation was that NBC would keep NHL, put it on Wednesday nights, and force WWE to move NXT to another night, with Tuesdays being the most likely option (especially since NXT Super Tuesday was tested out).

NXT did indeed move to Tuesdays, but nothing was set in stone about NHL coming to Wednesday nights on USA Network.

Now, things have gotten even more interesting, as Turner won the bidding war for the rights to NHL, which will be under Warner Media for the next 7 years at $225 million per season.

TNT and TBS are the two networks that stand the highest chance of hosting NHL games. Obviously, if that continues to be Wednesday nights and they choose to air it on TNT, that will force AEW to move Wednesday Night Dynamite over to another night of the week.

WWE could very well have moved NXT to Tuesdays to avoid losing in the ratings war just to run into the Tuesday Night War soon after.

Nothing has been stated declaring this is what will happen. NHL could very well go to TBS on Wednesday nights instead. Or, if they are on TNT, Dynamite could go to Thursday nights.

It will be interesting to see how this develops.
