It's the start of a new year and All Elite Wrestling is getting the ball rolling with a special episode of AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen!

Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite (January 1, 2025) emanates out of the Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville, North Carolina and will be a charitable show (as per usual with Fight for the Fallen) tied into support for those affected by Hurricane Helene. This edition is set to include the in-ring return of "The Rated-R Superstar" Adam Copeland teaming with FTR's Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood against The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta), Jamie Hayter against Julia Hart, Orange Cassidy against "Hangman" Adam Page, The Hurt Syndicate against The Acclaimed, a special announcement from Jeff Jarrett and more.

Here are the results from AEW Fight for the Fallen 2025:

— The show opened with Rated FTR fired up for their trios tag team match for later.

"Hangman" Adam Page defeated "Freshly Squeezed" Orange Cassidy by pinfall. After the match, Page took out Christopher Daniels and screamed for him to stay out of his business.

— Jay White cut a quick backstage promo about how he was screwed out of the AEW World Championship by Wheeler Yuta, but he still has a path to Jon Moxley at Maximum Carnage if he wins the Casino Gauntlet, and it isn't anything personal, but he's going to qualify over Roderick Strong and Swerve Strickland tonight.

— The Acclaimed weren't on the same page in their backstage promo heading into their match.

— The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) defeated The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) by submission with a Hurt Lock on Caster.

— Julia Hart defeated Jamie Hayter by pinfall after spitting the mist in Hayter's face.

— Kenny Omega was announced to be back next week. Kazuchika Okada then had a promo about winning the AEW Continental Classic and retaining the AEW Continental Championship.

— Mercedes Mone had an in-ring segment with a video package highlight reel and a quick promo about how she is going to beat Mina Shirakawa at Wrestle Dynasty.

— Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong said 2025 is going to be their year and Strong spoke about how he plans to qualify for the Casino Gauntlet.

— Casino Gauntlet Qualifier: "Switchblade" Jay White defeated Swerve Strickland and Roderick Strong by pinning Strong. Ricochet attacked Strickland with a pair of scissors during and after the match.

— Mariah May spoke about how nobody can touch her as women's champion.

— Jeff Jarrett teased a retirement, but said he's not finished. He's signed his last talent contract by re-signing with AEW, but he wants gold and is determined to win the AEW World Championship.

— Hook plans to finish what he started by choking out Christian Cage for AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage in two weeks.

— Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Jon Cruz and Rob Killjoy in a handicap match by pinfall.

— Last Saturday, MJF had a bloody backstage promo about how he had just beaten Adam Cole, but now, his focus is back to winning the Triple B (the AEW World Championship). He doesn't care who has it, he's getting it back.

— Rated FTR (Adam Copeland, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler) defeated Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) by pinfall with some help from interference by Jay White laying out Yuta.
