Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite (February 5, 2025) takes place in the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and will air starting at 8 p.m. on TBS.

This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:

On tap for tonight's episode, Swerve Strickland and Ricochet will finally clash after they've been going at it effectively since Ricochet's AEW debut. Whether or not scissors will be involved remains to be seen, but there will most likely at least be a headscissors maneuver at some point, if you count that.

There will be appearances by Maxwell Jacob Friedman and "Hangman" Adam Page. In all likelihood, MJF will cut the same promo he's been cutting for weeks about how Jeff Jarrett doesn't deserve to be a world champion, as that record has been skipping on repeat ever since that feud started. Page has seemingly been in the midst of a babyface turn as of late following the retirement of Christopher Daniels, so we might see some actual progression on that front and that storyline going somewhere, particularly after he had been seen looking for Swerve Strickland last week. Maybe to make amends? We'll see.

"Timeless" Toni Storm will undoubtedly either beat Queen Aminata to give her some momentum heading into Grand Slam, or the match will have interference from Mariah May, who will be on the commentary team for the bout. In any case, look out for Aminata to be a footnote here as the focus is entirely on the champion and her challenger.

The Don Callis Family will also be in action, with Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher against The Hounds of Hell, and an unannounced member of The DCF against Will Ospreay. Since that already takes out two, and Ospreay fought Brian Cage last week, that means this is either AEW not wanting to announce Ospreay against Lance Archer (for some reason...do they just not have confidence anyone would care about the guy and think a mystery angle is better for a hook?) or this will feature the return of Trent or some kind of new addition to the faction that will be revealed. My money's on this just being Archer and the marketing team decided that would be more intriguing.

Here are your results for AEW Dynamite February 5, 2025:

  • The show opens with what eventually becomes a brawl between Jay White, Cope, and FTR against Death Riders. Cope puts out a challenge for Jon Moxley for the title at Revolution, but he rejects it. White then challenges Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli to a Brisbane Brawl at Grand Slam, which seems to be accepted.
  • Will Ospreay defeated Mark Davis by pinfall.
  • The Hurt Syndicate cut an in-ring promo asking for people to step up for a tag title shot. The Gunns come out to do just that. MVP appreciates their courage and moxie, as well as their father Billy Gunn, so next week, "The Ass Boys" get a title opportunity.
  • Harley Cameron was hanging outside of Mercedes Mone's room with a puppet version of the TBS champion to say she'll be live in concert on Collision. Mercedes showed up to tell her to leave and to berate her.
  • "Hangman" Adam Page was interviewed by Renee, who asked him what he was doing looking for Swerve Strickland last week. Page said that was a moment of weakness and a mistake and to never ask about it again. He also feels no remorse for Christopher Daniels, as he did his job in their Texas Death Match. Max Caster was annoyed, waiting for his interview, and suggested Page be brutal like that against Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn. Page flipped the script and wants to fight Caster instead.
  • The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher) defeated The Hounds of Hell (Brody King and Buddy Matthews) by pinfall.
  • TBD - "Timeless" Toni Storm vs Queen Aminata
  • TBD - MJF appearance
  • TBD - Swerve Strickland vs Ricochet
