The December 18, 2024 edition of All Elite Wrestling's flagship show AEW Dynamite emanated from the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C..

AEW TBS Championship Match: Mercedes Mone defeated Anna Jay by pinfall after a Mone Maker to retain her title
FTR spoke about stopping Death Riders from pouring cleaner down someone's throat and that they're not cleared to compete until January 1st.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman, adorned in a Hanukkah-themed blazer, made fun of the crowd, told kids that Santa Claus isn't real, and equated Adam Cole to a sick child that needed charity. Cole appeared on the screen to talk about how he's going to beat MJF at AEW Worlds End and take the Dynamite Diamond Ring from him, before attacking him from behind.
Jamie Hayter plans to serve Julia Hart a "heavy dose of Hayterade" at AEW Fight for the Fallen on January 1, 2025
Patriarchy (Christian Cage and Nick Wayne with Mother Wayne) defeated HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata by pinfall with Wayne pinning Shibata
A vignette aired of Chris Jericho touring New York's spots like Time Square, Rockefeller Center, etc, calling himself The King of New York to promote his Ring of Honor World Championship match against Matt Cardona for this Friday night's ROH Final Battle event.
Bandido was hyped in a quick vignette.
Harley Cameron sang a version of 12 Days of Christmas promoting the AEW Shop merchandise.
Mariah May says she's eclipsed everyone in AEW and craps on both Thunder Rosa and Rosa's father. May will face Thunder Rosa in a Tijuana Street Fight at AEW Worlds End.
Tony Schiavone interviewed Ricochet about his recent change of attitude. The Hurt Syndicate interrupted and after Ricochet sucked up to them, MVP ripped up the business card he had given him and said "Nobody likes a kiss-ass". Ricochet left, saying they'll talk about it, and Shelton Benjamin got ready for his match.
Shelton Benjamin defeated The Beast Mortos by pinfall after his Hurt Fall finisher. After the match, Bobby Lashley and Benjamin continued to beat down The Beast Mortos. Daniel Garcia came out, said he knows it would be stupid to come to the ring since there are three of them, but wanted to anyway. Mark Briscoe came out to back him up, but since it was still three-on-two, The Hurt Syndicate came out on top. Benjamin posed with the TNT Championship temporarily and then draped it over Garcia.
After the commercial break, Ricochet spoke to Renee Paquette about how he has his eyes on Will Ospreay and doesn't know what's going on with The Hurt Syndicate. He turned around right into Swerve Strickland standing there, saying that he's "still the same old Trevor, a follower" and that that won't work in Swerve's House. Ricochet said he knows the real Swerve, too, and that Strickland didn't win the Continental Classic last year, but he (Ricochet) will. Swerve calls him bald.
RJ City sat down with Toni Storm, who is doing a gimmick now that she doesn't seem to recall ever being in AEW.
Darby Allin defeated Will Ospreay by pinfall to score three points in the AEW Continental Classic tournament.
Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC) defeated "Switchblade" Jay White, Orange Cassidy, and "Hangman" Adam Page by pinfall
