Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite (March 5, 2025) takes place in the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, California and will air starting at 8 p.m. on TBS.

This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:

On tap for tonight's episode, not much has been advertised in advance, which is strange for AEW, as they typically have a full lineup of matches ready to be tossed out there.

"The Rated-R Superstar" Cope is going to face Wheeler Yuta, who is one of the few members of The Death Riders that he's yet to take out. Last week, Yuta was almost the victim of the same beat down as Claudio Castagnoli and Marina Shafir, who were both subject to con-chair-tos from Cope and Willow Nightingale, but Jon Moxley was able to pull Yuta to safety. Now, he's going to have to step in the ring with Cope, so we can expect he'll be worse for wear by the end of this and Cope will win.

Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford will pair off in tag team action against Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa. No matter what happens, there has to be a better outcome than what went down when Thunder Rosa was threatening Bayne and Ford with a steel chair the other week and nobody knew what to do, so they just awkwardly stood around. Since Bayne is the shiny new toy being built up, it's doubtful she's going to lose this match, so even if her team comes up short, it will be Ford who takes the pin.

Swerve Strickland and Ricochet are going to sign their contract for their AEW Revolution match, wherein the winner will be the No. 1 contender for the AEW World Championship. Expect some physicality, as Prince Nana's robe is also still up for grabs at any moment, too.

Obviously, there will be more matches that have yet to be announced, and the continued build toward this Sunday night's pay-per-view.

Here are your results for AEW Dynamite March 5, 2025:

  • Contract Signing: Swerve Strickland and Ricochet talked trash about what they're going to do to each other at Revolution. Swerve blocked an attempt from Ricochet to stab him with his gold pair of scissors and instead, stabbed him with his own pair.
  • Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs, Mark Briscoe, and Orange Cassidy defeated Bryan Keith, Mark Davis, and The Murder Machines (Brian Cage & Lance Archer) by pinfall. After the match, the heels beat down the babyfaces, primarily targeting Ospreay, with Kyle Fletcher coming out to do a lot of the damage and ordering Davis to hit Ospreay with a steel chair.
  • Cope defeated Wheeler Yuta by pinfall.
  • MJF (and Renee Paquette) were almost ran over by "Hangman" Adam Page, who is looking for a fight and went after MJF. This led to a fight that went into the ring, eventually ending with MJF putting lighter fluid on Page and almost setting him on fire, but security stopped him.
  • Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford defeated Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa by pinfall.
  • Open Challenge: "Switchblade" Jay White defeated "Platinum" Max Caster by pinfall.
  • Renee Paquette moderated a promo segment (pre-taped) with Mariah May and Toni Storm. May started it off by spitting on Storm, blaming this all on her for starting this. Storm has sentenced May to a "lifetime of mediocrity."
  • Kazuchika Okada and Ricochet defeated Brody King and Swerve Strickland by pinfall.
