Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite (May 28, 2025) takes place at the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas and will air starting at 8 p.m. on TBS.
This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!
Preview & Predictions for AEW Dynamite:
On tap for tonight's episode, we'll be seeing the continuation of the events from AEW Double or Nothing, including checking in on the winners of the men's and women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament as "Hangman" Adam Page gears up to face Jon Moxley and Mercedes Mone has her shot at "Timeless" Toni Storm at All In: Texas. Both seem to be set up for promo segments, as it shouldn't be expected that things will get too physical when there's over a month left until at pay-per-view takes place and plenty time to kill.
As fallout from the Anarchy in the Arena match, there's a mixed trios bout on the lineup with "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Willow Nightingale, and Mark Briscoe against Gabe Kidd, Marina Shafir, and Jon Moxley.
We should anticipate more on the story of MJF joining The Hurt Syndicate and their tag title retention over The Sons of Texas, further opposition between Paragon and The Don Callis Family, and possibly even some setup for Forbidden Door.
The first qualifier match will take place to determine one of Kenny Omega's three challengers for a four-way match he will have at Fyter Fest. Will Brody King or Josh Alexander earn a spot to fight for the AEW International Championship? The other two spots will be determined on the episode of Collision that is being taped following Dynamite, between Mascara Dorado vs Hechicero and Claudio Castagnoli vs Komander. My guess, for the record, is Castagnoli, Alexander, and Hechicero.
Anna Jay and Harley Cameron will face Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford in a No Disqualification tag team match after scoring an upset over the heels on the Buy In of Double or Nothing.
Here are your results for AEW Dynamite May 28, 2025:
- Promo: "Hangman" Adam Page thanked Will Ospreay for the match of his life and spoke about how this Owen Hart Cup win is only temporary and next year, there will be a new champion of that tournament, as that's not something he defends. It means a lot to him, but he needs to look forward to All In and the All Elite Wrestling Men's World Championship. Swerve Strickland then came out to show footage of The Young Bucks when they said they cost Swerve the title "for Hangman" and that they still love him and know he still loves them, too. Page denied it, but Swerve still thinks he's full of sh*t. Will Ospreay came out to basically vouch for Page and suggest they work together for AEW's benefit. Swerve says he'll never work with Hangman and storms out.
- Mixed Trios Match: Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd, and Marina Shafir defeated Willow Nightingale, "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Mark Briscoe by submission via referee stoppage with Moxley's bulldog choke on Briscoe.
- Ricochet is looking to get a "crew" (maybe a C.R.U.?) to join him.
- No DQ Tag Team Match: Mega Bad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford) defeated Anna Jay and Harley Cameron by pinfall.
- The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) defeated The Frat House by pinfall.
- Jamie Hayter came out to the ring for an interview, but was immediately attacked by Thekla making her debut.
- Adam Cole defeated Kyle Fletcher by disqualification after interference from Josh Alexander.
- AEW International Championship 4-Way Qualifier Match: Brody King defeated Josh Alexander by pinfall.
- Adam Cole and Kyle Fletcher got into a fight backstage.
- Promo: "Timeless" Toni Storm and Mercedes Mone had a face-to-face in the ring to hype up their All In match.
