Who will go on to face Kenny Omega at Revolution?
Tonight, Konosuke Takeshita will defend the AEW International title against Orange Cassidy in what should be a slobber knocker of a match. Takeshita hasn’t lost a singles match since July 2024.
However, Orange Cassidy was the man that elevated the International Championship and he’s beaten former champions like Jon Moxley to do so. Cassidy has won the belt twice, so he knows how to get the job done when necessary. What’s looming in the background is Kenny Omega, who got a big win over the International Champion at Grand Slam.
Cassidy has a brief history with the former AEW World Champion himself where he lost to Omega in a triple threat match at Double or Nothing 2021. Both guys are coming into the match ready to put it all on the line for the International Championship. Question is, who will leave with the belt once the dust settles?
Will Ospreay also has a date with Kyle Fletcher at Revolution. The former International Champion will be caught in the Learning Tree vortex for the time being as Ospreay is set to take on “Bad Apple” Bryan Keith. This will be the biggest win of Keith’s career if he manages to beat the 31-year-old. Can Bryan Keith pull off a major upset?
MJF escaped with his life last week after spitting on Hangman Page. The former AEW World Champion is in a foul mood and unfortunately, that doesn’t bold well for his opponent tonight. With MJF scheduled to be in the building, will the cocky 28-year-old play a role in Page’s match tonight.
