Brodie Lee, formerly known as Luke Harper in WWE, only made his All Elite Wrestling debut a few weeks ago, but The Dark Order's Exalted One has already set his sights on the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
Jon Moxley had just defeated SCU's Frankie Kazarian after a hard-fought battle when Lee seized the opportunity to have his minions - including impressive-looking specimen "No. 10" - attack the exhausted Mox. Mr. Brodie then grabbed the mic and made the challenge for Double or Nothing, which The Purveyor of Violence gladly accepted before getting a boot in the face for his troubles.
Is it a little too soon for Lee to get a title shot? He has been on a roll, but still hasn't defeated anyone of note in AEW. He and Mox do know each other very well from their WWE days and have been involved in some great matches in the past, so perhaps management views The Exalted One as a safe bet to have a great showing against the champ.
Whatever the case may be, it's highly unlikely that Lee will actually walk away with the gold.
