Konosuke Takeshita is looking to avenge his loss to Powerhouse Hobbs.
On December 28th, Konosuke Takeshita is scheduled to face Powerhouse Hobbs for the International Championship. Since Hobbs’ surprise return, the former TNT Champion has been very impressive by getting the number on Takeshita and the Don Callis Family. However, the International Champion is hoping to change his luck tonight by teaming with the ROH World Television Champion Brian Cage. Will Hobbs continue to get the better of the Don Callis Family by securing another victory? Or will Takeshita get the last laugh by putting Hobbs in his place?
In the only Continental Classic match, Brody King looks to rebound after his loss to Ricochet at Winter is Coming. After an impressive showing against Darby Allin, King has been falling behind as he dropped his match against Claudio Castagnoli as well. King currently has three points so far; however, Komander is running in last place.
A late addition after Juice Robinson was forced out of the tournament due to injury, Komander has lost all three of his matches in the tournament thus far. At this point, it’s too late for the AEW star to make it into the semi-finals, but can Komander get a statement win over one of AEW’s top names? Or will Brody King showcase why everyone considered him an early favorite?
Willow Nightingale is already to represent AEW for the International women’s match at Wrestle Dynasty and the former TBS Champion has been gaining steam since her return. That doesn’t mean that Willow should be taking Harley Cameron lightly, as the AEW newcomer is slowly learning her craft and getting better each and every match.
