SCU, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, challenged The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag-Team Championships this past Wednesday on Dynamite, with the added stipulation that if they lost, they could never again compete as a team.

Well, lost they did, and Daniels was inadvertently busted open just above the eye in the process.

Despite bleeding profusely, the one-time Fallen Angel continued the match and ended up delivering a hell of a performance before finally succumbing to a superkick and staying down for the 3-count.

Chris took to Twitter to show the aftermath of his nasty-looking laceration.

SCU are seemingly done as a tag-team, but it sounds like Daniels may also be thinking about retiring for good, as he also Tweeted the following.

Daniels has a lot more in the tank from what we've seen, so we hope this isn't the end of the line. If it is, well, he's had an incredible career and accomplished a great deal, winning championships in pretty much every major promotion around the globe.
