There was never going to be any other outcome, and now it's official: Cody will take on Lance Archer in the finals of the TNT Championship Tournament at the Double or Nothing PPV on May 23rd.

Last night on Dynamite, both men won their respective matches to advance. The American Nightmare narrowly defeated Darby Allin in an excellent bout. Just like their first encounter, Allin came close to beating Cody on several occasions, and actually managed to hit his Coffin Drop in the end. However, Rhodes was able to roll to his side and catch Darby in a pinning predicament for the victory.

Next up, Lance Archer took on Cody's Brother Dustin Rhodes in a 15-minute slugfest, which resulted in The Natural getting busted open. The veteran gave Archer all he could handle and took the big man off his feet, but in the end the Murderhawk Monster was just too much to overcome.

Cody came to ringside and considered throwing in the towel, but Dustin refused and fought on. He finally stayed down after several vicious shots to the head, however.

Who will be crowned the first ever TNT Champion at Double or Nothing? Our money's on Cody, but it won't be a decisive win!
