Eddie Kingston Will Challenge Jon Moxley For The AEW Title At FULL GEAR In An "I Quit" Match

We figured Eddie Kingston would get another shot at the AEW title when he attacked Jon Moxley last week, and it was announced on Dynamite that both men would face-off in an I Quit Match at Full Gear.

Jon Moxley will defend the AEW Championship against his former friend Eddie Kingston at Full Gear in an I Quit Match.

Kingston attacked Mox last week after first congratulating him on his victory over Lance Archer, leaning into the betrayal angle and setting up a title match at the PPV. Last night on Dynamite, both men cut great promos, with Eddie explaining that he had to become a "snake" in order to advance his career, and that Jon was going to have to go to a deep, dark place if he hopes to have a chance of forcing him to say "I quit."

This should be a hard-hitting, brutally violent encounter, but we're starting to wonder if Moxley is capable of having a straight wrestling match. Sure, the hardcore stuff is his "thing," but after a while it just becomes a bit repetitive.

Anyway, still very much looking forward to this bout at Full Gear. Does Kingston have a chance? Probably not... but how awesome would it be if he actually won the title?
