Could Austin Aries be on his way to All Elite Wrestling?

Before AEW Dynamite Wednesday, the former Impact World Champion was seen arriving in Atlanta, Georgia at the State Farm Arena with WWE Hall of Famer DDP:

While neither DDP or Aries showed up on Dynamite this past week, the former Impact Wrestling and WWE star previously stated that he admires what Cody Rhodes and AEW has done in the wrestling business and would love to face the AEW Executive Vice President:

There’s no word on whether Aries is currently in talks with AEW, though Mike Johnson of PWInsider stated that the veteran was simply there watching the show.

As stated above, the 41-year-old is currently a free agent and there’s a slim chance that he’ll be making a return to Impact Wrestling or WWE soon. Aries last wrestled against Teddy Hart at Major League Wrestling’s Saturday Night Superfight pay-per-view. The former Impact World Champion would lose the MLW Middleweight Championship match.
