TNA Wrestling is back!

The promotion went on a hiatus recounting the best moments and matches of 2024. Before their return, TNA held their Final Resolution pay-per-view that saw former Impact World Champion Tessa Blanchard make her shocking comeback. The first episode of the New Year is sure to be an exciting one as TNA has confirmed several matches for Thursday’s episode.

In X-Division action, Ace Austin will take on KUSHIDA. Unfortunately for Austin, his tag team partner, Chris Bey, is sidelined with a serious neck injury. That forced the 27-year-old back in singles competition. However, Austin is a former three-time X-Division Champion. The TNA star was an accomplished singles wrestler before him and Chris Bey formed a tag team, and he’ll be looking to get back into the number one contendership ranks. Kushida stands in his way. The multi-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion is an accomplished singles wrestler himself, so it won’t be an easy night for Ace Austin.

In a huge 8-knockout Tag Team match, former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will team with current champ Masha Slamovich and the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Spitfire to take on Rosemary, Tasha Steelz, and Ash & Heather by Elegance.

Grace is coming off a heinous attack from Tessa Blanchard. Though she’s teaming with a pair of champions, will Jordynnne be able to focus knowing that Tessa Blanchard is in the building? And what will she say regarding the assault? We’ll find out this Thursday!

Plus, we’ll hear from the number one contender about his upcoming TNA World title match at Genesis. Joe Hendry had an incredible year that has a small blemish on it. That’s his loss to Nic Nemeth for the world title at Bound For Glory. A new year means a new set of goals, and Hendry will kick-off TNA hyping up his championship match on January 19.

The return of TNA Wrestling will hopefully start out with a bang! Check out the advertised line-up for the first show in 2025:

  • KUSHIDA vs. Ace Austin
  • Jordynne Grace, Spitfire, and Masha Slamovich vs. Rosemary, Tasha Steelz, Ash and Heather  by Elegance
