Can Kyle Fletcher win his first title defense?
Kyle Fletcher did what he failed to do at All In; win the TNT Championship. Now, the arrogant champion is parading around as God’s last gift, but he’ll step into the ring with one of the toughest men in professional wrestling, Tomohiri Ishii.
The current NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion has won multiple titles in New Japan throughout his career that spans nearly three decades. Ishii’s strong style has got the best of top names such as Jay White, Jeff Cobb (aka WWE’s JC Mateo), and EVIL; however, Tomohiro doesn’t have much luck in AEW. Ishii hasn’t won a singles match in AEW this past year. In fact, the last time Fletcher and Ishii fought in August 2024, the former decisively beat the STRONG Openweight Champion. Will Kyle Fletcher deliver a repeat performance and get an easy win? Or will Tomohiro beat the holy hell out of the arrogant TNT Champion?
The Triangle of Madness has been running wild over the past couple of weeks. Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue came dangerously close to ending Willow Nightingale’s career alongside Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne. Tonight, Willow is surely looking for revenge and the Triangle of Madness is hoping to finally put her and her friends out of commission for good. Who will be the last women standing?
Also, AEW World Champion Hangman Page will be in action tonight. Though Page has to deal with the MJF problem, the world champion must focus on La Faccion Ingobernable’s Rush, Dralistico, and The Beast Mortos and he has two great partners to help him out. Will Page, Kevin Knight, and Mike Bailey regain their momentum with a big win?
