Who will become the new contender for the AEW World Championship?
Maxwell Jacob Friedman earned a title opportunity at All In thanks to the Casino Gauntlet match. MJF actually stole the pin from Mark Briscoe and the former AEW World Champion might steal another title opportunity from the former ROH World Champion.
Mark Briscoe has yet to win a title in AEW; however, the 40-year-old hopes to change that in 2025. Can Mark Briscoe pull off a huge victory by beating a former AEW World Champion? Or will Max prove that he’s not a coward and beat Mark Briscoe?
Mercedes Mone will make her return tonight. The TBS Champion pulled out all of the stops to beat Toni Storm, but the AEW Women’s World Champion just couldn’t be put down for the three count. How will Mercedes Mone react to suffering her first singles loss in AEW?
Speaking of the TBS Championship, four women will fight in an eliminator match to determine the next challenger for the prestigious belt at Forbidden Door. Three of these women have previously fought Mone for the TBS title and fallen short; however, Queen Aminata, Skye Blue, and Billie Starz are not the same people that stepped up and challenged Mone the first time around. Alex Windsor is a relative newcomer who has been making waves in the short time she’s been in AEW. Who will emerge victorious in this four way eliminator match?
