AEW President Tony Khan has long been outspoken on social media and, while his Tweets/Xs have often been a source of fun, they've started to become an embarrassment.

As the head of AEW, he's supposed to be on the same level as WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Now, plenty can be said about what he gets up to in his personal life (hence the investigations for alleged misconduct), but as an executive, Vince is nothing if not professional.

Khan has made a habit of taking shots at Vince, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and WWE President Nick Khan, but NXT crushing AEW Dynamite in the ratings this week seems to have pushed Tony over the edge.

He's called Triple H and HBK "bald assholes" (for no discernable reason) and even chimed in on McMahon's controversies with a crass "joke." The latest Tweet, however, has seen him throwing shade at John Cena and The Undertaker for failing to get NXT over 1 million viewers.

It's a silly thing to point out and stinks of desperation. Now, Wrestling Observer Live's Bryan Alvarez has shared some news on how those within NXT have reacted to Khan's childish outbursts.

"I’ve heard that Tony needs to get off his phone and stop Tweeting," he explains. "You know who I heard that from? Not WWE, well, yeah from WWE too, but also from AEW. They are saying "Will someone get this guy’s phone from him?'"

Khan is being described as "petulant" by many and it sounds like the majority agree that his arguing with fans and attempting to take these potshots (which are neither clever nor particularly funny) is not a good look for him or AEW.

Ultimately, an argument could be made that Khan is a fan whose wealth has allowed him to make his E-Wrestling fantasies a reality. For a time, AEW looked set to be a very real rival to WWE and, there was a period when it looked like it could challenge RAW in terms of ratings (at least in the key 18-49 demographic if not overall viewers). Those days seem to be over.
