It appears that Rey Fenix could be severely injured.

The AEW star competed in a singles match on AEW Dark against the “Bad Boy” Joey Janela, which was set up earlier on Dynamite via Janela’s promo. According to the Wrestler Observer Radio, the Lucha Libre wrestler wasn’t 100% going into the singles contest and it is believed that a piledriver spot during the match really hurt the AEW star.

It's being reported that Fenix's performance got worse following that spot, with numerous botches happening on his end. As of this writing, there’s no word on how severe Fenix’s injury is. Thus far, him and Pentagon Jr. are not confirmed for next week’s show. We’ll keep you updated on the news regarding Rey Fenix’s injury.
