AEW Revolution is set to go down March 9, 2025 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, and two more matches have been added to the lineup as of tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite.

On the show, there was a promo segment with Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana, where they spoke about the ongoing rivalry with Ricochet. As has been stated numerous times beore, Nana wants Strickland to get focused on trying to regain the AEW World Championship, but he's also greatly distraught over Ricochet stealing his robe, as it means a lot to him—to the point that he told Swerve if he doesn't get it back, he's not sure he can keep being his manager.

That was after Nana had brokered a deal, though, that even Ricochet—who said he wasn't interested in facing Strickland again—couldn't pass up.

At AEW Revolution, Ricochet vs. Strickland II will take place, and the winner of that match will get a future shot at the AEW World Championship.

We also have an official AEW International Championship match now on the books, as it will be Kenny Omega challenging Konosuke Takeshita.

This isn't surprising, considering Takeshita was already champion and had been feuding with Omega for quite some time. However, AEW took a roundabout way to get to this point, having an "AEW International Championship Series" where Orange Cassidy defeated Roderick Strong to get a title shot first before Omega.

On tonight's episode, Cassidy failed to defeat Takeshita in their title match, despite putting up a valiant effort and nearly getting the win at multiple moments.

Here is the updated card for AEW Revolution:

  • Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Cope
  • Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: "Timeless" Toni Storm (c) vs. Mariah May
  • Singles Match for the AEW International Championship: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Kenny Omega
  • Singles Match for the AEW TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Momo Watanabe
  • Steel Cage Match: Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher
  • MJF vs. "Hangman" Adam Page
  • AEW World Championship No. 1 Contender's Match: Ricochet vs. Swerve Strickland
  • [Zero Hour] "Big Boom!" A.J. vs. TBA
