Can Samoa Joe get the last laugh on tonight’s episode?
The former AEW World Champion is scheduled to face Jon Moxley for the prestigious title in Chicago next week. Joe has been getting the better of The Death Riders over the last several weeks. In fact, Joe has choked out the AEW World Champion twice! But Claudio Castagnoli has taken out a couple of Joe’s allies. Tonight, he has the chance to weaken Moxley’s opponent tonight; can Joe leave Detroit, Michigan unscathed? Or will The Death Riders finally get one over the former world champion?
Swerve Strickland is still pissed about the Bucks costing him his world title match at Revolution. The former AEW World Champion gets his shot at revenge tonight when he teams with Mark Briscoe and Mike Bailey to take on Ricochet and the former AEW World Tag Team Champions. The Bucks and Ricochet work well together as they were successful in their last tag team outing, will they be able to fend off a trio that features two former world champions?
Also, Renee Paquette sits down with former AEW World Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter and talks about her upcoming match against Mercedes Mone and the meaning of her winning the Owen Hart Foundation tournament.
Plus, Will Ospreay vs. Adam “Hangman” Page is the official match for Double or Nothing. The former International Champion will talk about his upcoming Owen Hart Foundation tournament opponent. Will Page confront his temporary nemesis since he’s advertised to appear on Dynamite?
