Variety confirms that Shaquille O'Neal has signed a deal with WarnerMedia which will see him doing various projects for the company, including a potential appearance on All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite

As well as extending his reach with TNT's NBA coverage, he'll be doing a new show for NBA TV and is likely to finally get involved with the world of pro wrestling in a meaningful way. As you may recall, he worked the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 where he clashed with The Big Show.

The plan from there was for them to clash at the Show of Shows the following year, but some creative and financial disagreements soon led to that being scrapped. Now, WWE's loss is likely AEW's gain, and talking about the deal in an interview with The Athletic, Shaq even revealed who he'd like to face on Dynamite.

"I’d love to fight Cody," he said. "Write it. Print it. Text it to him. Call AEW up and tell them."

Cody currently has his hands full with Brodie Lee after losing the AEW Television Championship to him in a shocking match during Saturday's episode. However, it's certainly hard not to wonder what a bout like this could look like somewhere down the line.
