Forbidden Door is this Sunday.

A set of challengers are expected to be determined in the AEW World Tag Team title tournament. In the finals, former two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler will take on the newly formed team of Brody King and Bandido.

Dax and Cash have been a team for over a decade. The duo haven’t only won tag belts in AEW, they’ve also won them in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ring of Honor, WWE, and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. FTR are desperate to regain those prestigious belts and have been pulling out the stops to win them at any and all costs.

Brodido have been the biggest surprise of the tournament. They are coming off a hot win over former AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks. Though Brody King and Bandido have never won tag belts together, the duo have won them with other wrestlers. Brody is a former PWG and NWA Tag Team Champion and Bandido is also a former PWG Tag Team Champion. With both teams hoping to become the latest challengers for the AEW World Tag Team titles, who will secure that win in what should be a remarkable match?

This Sunday, The Death Riders and The Young Bucks will go to war in a Lights Out Steel Cage match. It’s going to be a bloody and violent outing, but before the war begins, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli have to get through Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kevin Knight, and Mike Bailey. Moxley has Knight and Bailey’s number. However, the addition of the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion will surely change things. Is Hiroshi Tanahashi the secret to getting Knight and Bailey their first win over The Death Riders?

Also, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena and TBS Champion Mercedes Mone will team together to take on AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm and Alex Windsor. While Athena and Mercedes aren’t best friends, they certainly have one enemy in common - Toni Storm. All flour women will compete at Forbidden Door and a win here will definitely give that team some strong momentum going in.

Check out the advertised card below:

  • FTR” Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler vs. “Brodido” Brody King and Bandido in the tournament final for a shot at the AEW Tag Team Titles

  • AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm and Alex Windsor vs. ROH Champion Athena and TBS Champion Mercedes Mone
