Dynamite returns with a big show kicking off the New Year.
At World’s End, Jon Moxley successfully defended his AEW World Title against Jay White, Orange Cassidy, and “Hangman” Adam Page. However, with The Death Riders, it’s not simply about winning or losing; it’s about sending a message. The Death Riders were seconds away from seriously hurting Jay White until FTR brought their back-up, Adam Copeland.
Rated FTR took out Moxley and The Death Riders, and Copeland called out the AEW World Champion and promised to take everything away from him. The former TNT Champion will make his official in-ring return tonight, as Rated FTR will take on Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta in what should be an explosive six-man tag team match.
Julia Hart had her sights set on Jamie Hayter and The former TBS Champion looks to make a statement by beating the former AEW Women’s World Champion. Hayter’s been struggling since Hart made her a target, so the 28-year-old is happy to finally get her hands on Julia Hart. Will Jamie Hayter get the revenge she wants? Or will Julia Hart put Hayter in her place?
In a first time match-up, “Hangman” Adam Page will take on Orange Cassidy. It was the former International Champion himself who put this target on his back. Cassidy feels lost after losing his second opportunity at winning the AEW World title. He picked Page as the man he wanted to go after, and the former AEW World Champion likely doesn’t have an issue with that since he’s never liked Cassidy from the start. Will Orange Cassidy bounce back and get a huge win over Hangman Page?
