What will happen between Swerve Strickland and Jon Moxley?
Tonight is the final Dynamite before Dynasty this Sunday. In the main event, Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Heavyweight Championship against Swerve Strickland. Moxley got the better of the former world champ in the beginning, but Swerve has got the advantage over Mox in the last several weeks. These two will meet in a preview of their match Sunday in an intergender tornado tag team match.
Willow and Marina absolutely despise each other, so chaos is expected to erupt between those two. But what will happen when Moxley and Swerve finally lock horns? Can Swerve get one over the AEW World Heavyweight Champion before their big match at Dynasty?
Another world champion will be in action as Toni Storm is scheduled to take on Penelope Ford in a non-title match. All the focus is on Megan Bayne vs. Toni Storm at Dynasty, but Ford has really grown as a wrestler throughout the years and is on the verge of breaking out. Will tonight be a big night for Penelope Ford? Or will Toni Storm crush her dreams and send an important message to Megan Bayne?
Also, the brackets for the Owen Hart Cup tournaments are set to be revealed. Several high profile names such as Athena, Jamie Hayter, Mercedes Mone, Jay White, Will Ospreay, and Adam “Hangman” Page have confirmed their entry into the annual tournament. Who will be the remaining participants?
Expect the final builds to the AEW Trios Championship match, the three-way International title match between Mike Bailey, Ricochet, and Kenny Omega, Daniel Garcia vs. Adam Cole, and Bandido vs. Chris Jericho.
