Tonight is the final episode of Rampage. At least for the foreseeable future.
This special New Year’s Smash event will see ROH World Champion Chris Jericho competing in singles competition against Anthony Bowens in a non-title match. This all started on Collision when the “King of New York” interrupted a segment with Big Boom AJ and Justice. The Learning Tree Founder was a real douche to the social media personalities until Anthony Bowens came out and handled the problem.
This is Anthony Bowens’ biggest singles match to date. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion is used to tag team matches, but doesn’t compete in singles action that much these days. With Jericho having the experience over Bowens, will he make quick work out of the AEW star? Or will Bowens pull out an upset victory before 2025?
Hook will get his chance at revenge. The second-generation star has been in hot pursuit of The Patriachy for the assault that put his father on the sidelines for several months. The former FTW Champion gets to take his anger out on Christian Cage’s young prodigy, Nick Wayne.
Will Cage interfere and cost Hook another victory? Or will the cold-hearted devil make Nick Wayne wish that The Patriarchy leader never put his hands on the ECW legend?
Also, AEW World Tag Team Champions Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy will be in action tonight. Though the duo doesn’t have a match at World’s End, Lio Rush and Action Andretti are the No. 1 contenders for the tag team titles. Quen and Kassidy are looking to continue building steam before their eventual title match against their challengers.
All this and more is scheduled for tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage. Check out the advertised card below:
