Two Championship matches bring in the new era of AEW Collision.

On December 7, 2024, Mark Briscoe shocked AEW fans when he beat the reigning TNT Champion in the Continental Classic tournament match. The ROH World Champion started the tournament off rocky, suffering losses to Kazuchika Okada and Shelton Benjamin. But the 39-year-old rebounded when he pulled off the surprising victory over Kyle Fletcher. Though given Briscoe’s experience and the fact that he’s a two-time world champion, his wins aren’t that surprising to long time fans.

Mark Briscoe is walking into the title match with tons of momentum as it’s been a month since he’s lost a match. Daniel Gracia hasn’t had the same luck. His record in the Continental Classic is a mixed bag and the TNT Champion is coming from a big loss to Kyle Fletcher. Can the TNT Champion regain his mojo back by beating Mark Briscoe tonight? Or will we see the crowning of a new champion?

In the second championship match, Private Party will defend their belts against Lio Rush and Action Andretti. Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen have been on cloud nine since winning the AEW World Tag Team titles in October. But Rush and Andretti have slowly buit their names within the tag team division.

Though the team has never won tag team together, their wins over Top Flight, Homicide & Rocky Romero, and The Outrunners have proven that these two are a very talented duo. Can the up and coming team pull off the huge victory? Or will Private Party revoke their invitation?

Also, Chris Jericho will be in action as The Learning Tree is set to take on the new trios of Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, and Cope. Rated FTR got a huge victory over one world champion on AEW Dynamite, can they end the week by going over another world champion?

Also, expect a special appearance from The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. Check out the advertised line-up below:

* AEW TNT Championship Match: Daniel Garcia vs. Mark Briscoe

* AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Private Party vs. Lio Rush & Action Andretti

* The Learning Tree vs. Rated FTR

* Toni Storm vs. Deonna Purrazzo

* Jeff Jarett vs. TBA
