Much to the chagrin of my wrestlers in WWE, the company pushed Enzo Amore as the face of 205 Live when he won the Cruiserweight Championship. However, after a sexual assault accusation (that was later dropped due to insufficient evidence) surfaced, he was released from the company.

It sounds like his backstage antics contributed to the decision too, but over the past couple of years, Amore has supported his former tag team partner Big Cass - now IMPACT's W. Morrissey - on the Indy circuit.

Well, during the latest Wrestling Observer Radio with Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer, it was revealed that Enzo was rushed to hospital in Texas following an SWE show. Apparently, he took a DDT on the floor and ended up being knocked out cold, bad news for someone with a history of concussions.

"Enzo was doing a show tonight and apparently took a DDT during a spot outside and got knocked unconscious and the story was he was taken to the hospital, and hopefully he’s alright," Alvarez revealed. "That’s all we know right now."

Meltzer added that this was Enzo's first match for the promotion and noted that it happened before intermission. He noted that Amore was "knocked completely out" before being taken out on a stretcher.
